If black & white is my favourite medium, then abstract has to be my favourite approach. I am aware that it is not mainstream, but is what I love and artists need a degree of selfishness in order
to keep listening and following their hearts. I cannot explain what’s so special about an old rotten barn door, but
there’s something about its simplicity and unpretentious beauty that attracted me to it then and is the inspiration behind most of my pictures today.
